I have a major in social sciences because I like looking at “why” of what we do. I’ve read a lot in the news lately about #MeToo, and there’s a big need to focus on the sociological and psychological science behind why sexual misconduct happens so we can put better policies in place. The few facts I learned from my own research shocked me and were hard to take in, and that tells me we need to dig deeper into why sexual misconduct happens.
